TAGE MAGE results:
timeline, certificate, and validity

For an FNEGE session, your score is available in your account within fifteen business days; it remains valid for the calendar year of the test and the following calendar year. For a session organized by an institution, the timeline depends on that organizer. Then check access to your highest still-valid score and the documents each program requires.

Find out who organized your session

For registrations and test sessions handled by FNEGE, results are automatically available in your account within fifteen business days. For a session arranged through an institution, the FAQ directs you to that organizer’s timeline and notification method. Do not assume the same schedule applies to both cases.

Find your registration confirmation to identify the right contact. Record the test date, organizer, and candidate number in your tracking system. Business days are not calendar days: do not give a school a personal estimated receipt date based simply on adding fifteen days.

If a deadline is approaching, review the application procedure: waiting for a result does not authorize a late submission. Contact admissions to ask about its policy, and include your session and the document you are waiting for.

Find your result in the right account

If you registered on the TAGE MAGE website, sign in to the account you used. If you took the test through an institution, the score access page explains how to create an account and link your result, including the TREMPLIN Bac+3 procedure. Follow the process for your competition; do not copy another organizer’s process just because its form looks similar.

Before creating a second account, check your sign-in email and old confirmation messages. Differences in your name or email address can make it harder to match your result. If you ask for help, describe the problem and your session details; never send your password.

When the certificate becomes available, save it with a clear filename and open it to check its contents. Then add a “submitted” column to your application tracker: a document downloaded to your computer has not yet been uploaded to each application.

Two calendar years does not mean twenty-four months

The FAQ defines validity as the calendar year of the test and the following calendar year. For example, a score earned in February 2026 and one earned in November 2026 both expire on December 31, 2027. This example applies the calendar-year rule; validity does not extend based on the month you took the test.

For your records, keep the test date and expiration date separate. Also check your target program’s requirements, since the test’s general validity does not replace program-specific application conditions. The program specifies which supporting document it expects for its application cycle.

The pitfall

Your best score does not eliminate the need to check your application

FNEGE says schools can access your highest score that is still valid. Its FAQ also says an application may require a copy of the certificate. Access to a score does not mean that you have completed every school’s application requirements.

Check your account to see which institutions can view your results, then follow the format requested by each application. If a platform asks for a file, do not leave the field blank on the assumption that the school can access your score elsewhere.

Review your situation before deciding whether to retake the test

Separate the result you received from your next decision. Save the certificate, complete any submissions in progress, then review the schedule for a possible retake. Do not delay a complete application just because you are considering a retake without a confirmed session.

If the score is not what you expected, use your practice work to identify an area to improve. To analyze reading or reasoning errors, revisit reviewed practice sessions and the steps you recorded. Ask yourself what you can concretely change before another attempt without turning a disappointment into a final judgment about your abilities.

Key takeaways

  • The account to use and the timeline to follow depend on who organized the session.
  • Record the expiration date in your application calendar.
  • Check score submission and required documents for each program.
